Due to the weather, plans for a Fall Clean-up at the Richardson Preserve, 577B Wilmarth Street, have changed.
The full-scale Fall Clean-up, originally scheduled for November 23, will be held on Saturday, November 30, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Fall maintenance tasks to include:
–Trimming brush along trails
–Raking leaves
–Picking up fallen branches in lawn areas
–Weeding gardens
–Miscellaneous clean-up tasks
Tools needed may include:
— Standard rakes and leaf rakes
— Loppers, pruning shears, pruning saws, and other pruning tools
— String trimmers, weed whackers, brush cutters
We will have some tools, but please bring what you have.
Dress accordingly for protection against poison ivy and ticks. Please bring your own:
— Work gloves
— Water bottles
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
