Milton E. Veno Nature Preserve

Pedestrians may stop here for a scenic overlook into a wetland.  The property was donated by Myrtle M. Veno in memory of her husband.  The couple lived on the opposite side of Oak Hill Avenue, where they avidly gardened, kept a greenhouse, and enjoyed their natural surroundings.  Milton tended a number of dogwood trees whose spring blossoms were guaranteed to capture the attention of passing travelers.
