Parking: Northeast corner of Finberg Field (52 Bishop Street) parking lot
The work party scheduled for June 30th has been cancelled due to the forecast of excessive heat. There will be a rescheduled work party on July 7th at the Joseph and Margaret O’Donnell Nature Preserve from 9am-12pm. Anyone is welcome to join and help out, and we’d love to see you there! Location and Parking: Please park in the northeast corner of the Finberg Park parking lot and walk a short distance down Bishop Street to reach the entrance of O’Donnell. The address for Finberg Park is 52 Bishop Street.
In keeping with current guidelines, vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask or social distance. If you are unvaccinated, we ask that you still wear a mask and maintain 6-feet distance from others.
Please bring your own:
— Work gloves
— Water

WORK PARTY – WEDNESDAY, JULY 7th
Location: Joseph and Margaret O’Donnell Nature Preserve
Finberg Park parking lot (Northeast corner)
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon)
Tasks will include:
— Cutting the new trail entrance (about 150 feet of trail)
— Pruning and clearing the rest of the trail as it is slightly overgrown
— Removing tripping hazards on the trail
— Installing a directional sign post (pending approval for this project)
Tools needed will include:
— Shovels
— Lawn rakes
— Loppers, pruning shears, pruning saws, and other pruning tools
We will have some tools, but please bring what you have.
Dress accordingly for protection against poison ivy and ticks. Insect repellent will be supplied.
