Fall Clean-Up

As in previous work parties, we will follow these COVID-19 precautions:
— If you can help, please let us know in advance. We will limit the MAXIMUM size of each crew to 10 people.
— Everyone on the crew must agree to wear a MASK.
— Everyone on the crew must agree to maintain a 6-FOOT DISTANCE from each other.
— These are precautions that naturally require teamwork and mutual respect among everyone on the crew. We hope you agree.
— Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your own:
— face mask (required)
— work gloves
— water
— insect repellent

WORK PARTY – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3
Location: COLMAN RESERVATION and VAUGHAN MEMORIAL FOREST
Directions: Meet at the Colman Reservation parking lot on Steere Street
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
Rain date: Saturday, October 10

Tasks:
— Picking up trash along the street
— Clearing brush along trails and around parking area
— Repairing fence

Tools needed will include:
–Chain saws
–Shovels
–Loppers, pruning saws, hedge shears, and other pruning tools
–Weed whackers/brush trimmers
–Leaf rakes
–Tarps to bundle and move brush
We will have some tools, but bring what you have.
